Additional Staff
We have an expansive team of professional nurses and technicians who work exclusively with Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Tsai. The team concept is apparent in every surgery performed by The Kennedy Center staff. Our surgical nurses, technicians and physicians work together on a daily basis and have formed a cohesive, integrated team that provides the best possible care for all our patients.
A private surgical team that is familiar with each other has been proven to be more efficient and successful in achieving excellent, reproducible results.
Inpatient Nurses
We have two dedicated R.N.'s that provide individualized care from pre-operative visits to caring for you on the day of admission. They'll help you through your hospital stay and smooth the transition from the hospital to your home or to a rehab facility.
Outpatient Nurses
Our two outpatient RN's assist in the evaluation of out-patients in the pre-operative setting, address the medical concerns of patients in the post-operative setting, and care for patients who are able to be treated non-operatively.
Certified Surgical Technologists
The Kennedy Center has three dedicated surgical technologists who work exclusively with our two orthopedic surgeons. It has been proven that a private surgical team that is familiar with each other, provides optimum results for patients.
Surgical Suite Nurses
We have two surgical suite nurses who are exclusively dedicated to working with Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Tsai. These nurses have been with The Kennedy Center for more than 10 years and are invaluable assets to our doctors in the surgical suite.
Support Staff (Administrative Assistants and Mercy Radiology Technicians)
The Kennedy Center has friendly, experienced administrative assistants to provide prompt scheduling, documentation and over-all patient logistical support.
We have two on-site radiology suites just for Kennedy Center patients. Staffed by Mercy Medical Center Radiology Technicians, the radiology department consists of a diagnostic radiology suite and a fluoroscopy suite that has live video-feed of the bone structure after surgery.
Patients of The Kennedy Center go straight to these radiology suites, which are located just steps away. Patient x-rays are then read by The Kennedy Center surgeons.
